Position: Speech Language Hearing Therapist Assistant
Location: Shirokanedai (about 12 minute walk from Shirokane Takanawa Station.)
Type: Part time (1-2 hours/Week)
Start Date: August 22nd, 2016
Language: English
Salary/DOE (950yen/1 hour session)
You will assist a registered and certified Speech Language Hearing Therapist in order to provide a variety of natural and social interactions with a 14 year old American girl who has difficulties with:
Producing and using speech
Understanding and expressing language
Swallowing
Attention and compliance
Skills and personal characteristics needed
Be able to work with teens
Enjoy using language and communication to enhance student's basic learning skills.
Be able to motivate people
Be able to reassure people
Enjoy working alone or as a member of a team
Excellent communication and organization skills
